| Posted: | | | | In my collection of (okay I admit it) adult movies, I often notice that some actors use several different names. For example: This person uses the following names:
Lucky Taylor Also known as Lucas Taylor (Sparta Video), Lucky, Lucky Star, Lukas Sergio, Marc Taylor (Titan Media), Ryan Smirnov (Lucas Entertainment).
Is there a way to add an alias to the original name, or should I make an entry for each of the listed names, and put his picture on it? I know it's possible to add the other names in the notes-field, but that way it makes it more difficult to see in what other movies the person plays. | | | Unfortunately, I can't use DVDprofiler at the moment due to lack of a Windows computer. |

This is why we have the Credit Lookup Tool (CLT), which is used to determine the most COMMONLY credited name, which is what we would use. You must include in you notes documentation that Lucky and Lucas (for example) are in fact the SAME person, then you include in your notes the results of the CLT. The Credited As field which is part of the data you enter with the Role remains the actors credit for THAT movie.
