The head shots for cast members is a neat thing, but  I find some or most of the head shots are either outdated, (either too young,, or too old)/, not available/, or are 'autographed'  snaps.
Wouldn't it be great to ( on a daily basis,)  lists the names we , ourselves , have changed for the cast head shots.  We could add one or more names as we please for others to pick up on.
I'll start first with just one name: ( as I'm sure I have changed many head shots over the course of the months)

1. Paul Reubens  ( hey.. no flaming please )
In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

so.. errr... and then what? Do we all admire the list and tell each other "gosh look he has updated that Paul Reubens headshot?"

Invelos can't be included in this.

Ken has addressed this many times. Head shots are not a part of our system and will not be due to the copyright issues involved.

Some of us have a monthly update going on over here.

Taking this to a daily update routine is impossible I believe. I don't see the point in releasing headshot updates containing less than 10 images. The monthly updates usually contain between 100 and 300 images.

All the updates I created can be found here.

No I didn't mean any type of 'updated' materials,, just 'names' only to do your 'own' search and install locally ..

I edited the Title for a better description of request..

I didn't understand the point of this thread when you started it - and I still don't.

I hadn't seen it before but I'm puzzled too. Might have to with the fact that the initial post is the biggest mess of letters called post I've seen in a while...

Not too sure if the problem is local or more wide spread..
I installed the the head shot data base and I found after a few weeks of looking at some of the head shots, that they were of wrong people (as I had stated ).., so every once in a while I come across another and thought it would be  'wise' for me to post here . apparently not., as no one else has this problem as you have so nicely pointed out , So just ignore if these names and photos don't line up,, but it would be nice to see some posted..

or should I just keep up loading with this program instead.??

Wouldn't it make more sense to post these in the headshot database thread?

I would've thought so as Ken is not likely to implement contribution on headshots due to copyright.

Seriously, don't take it personal, but currently your posts make less sense than what some new French/Italian/Spanish/etc. users post here. Could you please try to think a few seconds longer before writing your thoughts down? It's obvious from your punctuation alone (., ,, etc) that you're rushing out your posts...

I guess northbloke is right though. If what you're tying to say is that you have found new/better/correct shots for some actors you've got two ways:

1) If you only want to let others know about the faulty ones and not spread your correct ones, just let everyone know in the headshot database thread

2) If you want to share improved shots, use the method described in that thread to create a headshot update backup file and share it with the user building the monthly update files

I think the confusion is, in part, due to the fact that you made your post in the 'DVD Profiler: Feature Requests' forum.  The headshot db has nothing to do with Profiler...it is maintained and distributed by Dr. Killpatient.

As you have said - post in the correct head shot database thread and you can also read about how to do backup and restores of the database. You will find this useful (not just for headshots) but so you can ensure you have a recent copy of the database.
