| Posted: | | | | I am correcting and completing a profile for a documentary. No credit appears for Director or Producer. The following credits do appear:
Co-Directors Name One Name Two
Co-Producers Name One Name Two
The rules say not to include Co-Producers or Co-Directors, but in this context it seems clear that what is meant is that credit for producing and directing is shared by the two named persons. What say ye? |

| Posted: | | | | I see what you mean, but there's no way to get around the rules. Preview: The version of DVD Profiler which is in beta right now will allow you to record these for your local db. | | | ...James

| Posted: | | | | I think this is a case of having to do what the rule says and not what it means. I think the rule is about...
Director - Big Cheese Co-Director - Second Banana
If the credits had just listed two directors you could list them (I have movies with two or more directors) but since they say Co-Directors even though it's two equals (more in the way co-director is used in business) you are stuck with the rule.
Trying to follow what the rule means is too much of a slippery slope. | | | Tom. |

| Posted: | | | | I would put the actual role before the role label and enter them as directors. The voters and screeners would then have to decide. A movie without any director just seems wrong to me. |

| Posted: | | | | I have plenty of DVDs without director credits. Remember, this is about a documentary, not a cinema movie. The same goes e.g. for music DVDs.
So for the record: I agree with James, Skip and Tom. | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |

No other satisfying solution. If contribution is refused, than keep it local : bad for all those who will not have anything to download though an excellent profile exists somewhere... | | | Images from movies |

| Posted: | | | | No Co-'s , surfeur51: again you prove you're not willing to follow the rules laid out to all of us. You also give bad advice to submit data in profiles that does not belong there Very badIncorrect Roles: Co-Director, Co-Producers | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions. | | | Last edited: by ? |

| Posted: | | | | Although no director or producer is listed, the rules stand, so please leave these off from the contribution. As indicated, 3.5 will make local entry of these easy. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |
