My database appears to be missing numbers.  It skips from 608 to 613, then skips again from 613 to 617, again from 619-623, then again from 624-626.  Any ideas on why this is happening??

Not sure what's happening, but have you tried to renumber them using Collection: Reassign Collection Numbers and seeing if that removes the gaps?  Have you checked your parental controls through Tools: Options: Parental Control? Is anything checked that would hide adult/NC-17/Not Rated titles?

If all else fails, try the repair database function...Tools: Options: Utilities: Repair DVD Profiler Database.

Hope this helps!

In your online, is this also local?
If yes:
  • did you move any titles from owned to 1 of the other tabs? (wishlist?)

you have some titles in your online without collection number, looks like adult movies, before nr 1, if sort them by number in the online? If you don't want those titles in your online, check the settings: click here
    Show In Public Listing:
    unmark [x] Adult Titles
    DVD Profiler program:
  • Adult Title Definition
  • Or has Adult Genre
  • Allow Adult titles
  • ° Hide Adult Titles in Online Listing

Also check that those numbers don't just happen to be applied to child profiles, so won't be visible unless you click on the + next to the parent profile.

I checked and my adult titles do appear on the list.  I'll try those other fixes tomorrow night as right now I'm about to fall asleep at the keyboard.  Thanx for the help!!

I tried the fixes mentioned, but there's still a missing number or two.  I'm assuming I just have to go back and do the fixes again.  Thanx for the help!!

Another idea that springs to mind is that if you originally gave a box-set parent profile a Collection Number then removed the collection number afterwards, maybe after adding child entries. This would have left an empty/free number that you are seeing.

Re-assigning the collection numbers will resolve this. Which is something that I too went through
