Ignoring the other options such as plug-ins, the biggest pain for me (entering my collection brand new into Profiler) was the multitude of back-and-forth steps that I had to take for each. This was in part due to my turning off "Prompt for personalization" when entering the UPC's allowing me to skip that step while I just wanted to enter all of my titles. However, this meant having to go back afterwards and CTRL+P each them, enter information, OK, <down arrow>, and CTRL+P again for the next one on down the line.

My suggestion is more of an ability for a batch action:

After pressing CTRL+E, you see a new set of arrows (perhaps below the Personal Information section to not be confused with the buttons already at the bottom right). Click on these arrows and instead of jumping from section to section within the Edit Profile window, you jump from title to title under whichever Collection List tab that you are viewing (possibly also taking current filers into account) while remaining in the same section of the window (ie: General Information, Features, etc). If you make a change to a title and then move to the next one, this change is remembered but not saved yet. All changes made for all titles are then added or canceled in batch when you choose "OK" or "Cancel" to close the Edit Profile window.

A good example of the usefulness of this is populating Tags. You can click the first title and open Edit Profile, go down to Personal Information, select whichever Tags are appropriate for that title, and then click this new "Jump to Next Title" button which displays the information for the next title (while remaining in the Personal Information section rather than jumping back up to the General Information area), select the tags for this title.... wash, rinse, repeat.
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

He who MUST get the last word in on a pointless, endless argument doesn't win. It makes him the bigger jerk.

Nice idea!
Agreed.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I agree, too.  This would be especially handy when working with child profiles of a TV series

I also like that suggestion.
