I might just not be finding the forest for the trees ...

Is there a screen or filter showing me just those DVDs I loaned out?

or..,  right click on Title bar >View Columns >'click' Loan Due  which will place a 'column' visable at all times of 'names'  of 'loaned to' placed next to the title in question ..  .
