| Posted: | | | | Hi,
I have the Godfather DVD Collectin, which is comprised of 5 DVDs; one for Godfather, 2 for Godfather II (it's over 3 hours), one for G3, and a final bonus disc. They are all thinpaks, none have individual UPCs. All were found via DiscID and added to my Godfather UPC on the back of the box set. However, the second DVD from Godfather Part II is definitely incorrect. It comes up as a Keep Case "complete movie on one DVD" instead of being the second part of the movie. What is the best way to correct this?
I assume the discID is identical, but am a bit surprised as one is only half of the movie, and the other is the whole thing outside of the box set. So either the contributor to the original keep case made an error (dunno how that is possible since it is DVDP which decides what the discID is), or Paramount Home Video reused the same discID.
I am inclined to simply delete it from my Collection, and keep the entry for the first half of Godfather Part II, but was wondering how others handled it.
Thanks, DD. |

Thanks, DD. Unfortunately you might not be ablle to correct it, as you have the "Thinpaks" the collection was originally released in Keepcases in an outer cardboard slipcase (or at least here in the UK that way). So you will just have to adjust your local DB and then I would suggest you "Lock" the parts of the profile that you wish to preserve - Thinpak; Thinpak art cover; different features etc. One of the joys of the Re-Release. I have some of the 24 sets that are a re-release over the ones that are in the online. Just done my own child profiles then locked them up so not to lose my version data, means others whoo have the same version as me can't download/share the data/artwork but... Steve |

| Posted: | | | | Steve is correct, the Thinpak data would be purely local since the Original release data was the keeps. But north is right about being ONE Profile with two disc IDs.

Thanks, DD. |
