I was adding genres to a dvd, which is a television mystery series and noted that there was not a "mystery" genre.

What have others used for such genres? I put "suspense/thriller" but it that doesn't seem correct.

As a noob I have to assume that this is the correct forum to request "mystery" as a genre.

Thank you

However, if you are not using 3.5 yet, because it is still BETA, it is also acceptable to use suspense/thriller for mystery.

Thank you.

I like the custom genre option. It may be good to just add a mystery genre anyhow.

I look forward to the non-beta 3.5.

I would like a Mystery genre as well.  Suspense/Thriller isn't all that good of a fit and Crime (to me at least) seems more appropirate for gangster/heist/caper films.  Mysteries usually have a very specific structure that's fairly unique.

Crime -> Investigation -> Denouement

And unlike most other genes the viewer is invited to play along!

Yup, that's a biggie for me!
