Night Shift (1982)

Michael Hill:

Armed and Dangerous (1986)
Gung Ho (1986)

Edit: let me add a few sources for those that still need to be convinced that both name variants refer to the same person:

Darn: that seems to get us to 10x Mike vs. 11x Michael. I've been using "Mike", so unless one or two other inaccuracies are found, I might have to switch... It seems that he's been solely using "Mike" for the last fifteen years, but the rather large bunch of eighties movies does indeed seem to tilt the balance (very!) slightly towards "Michael". But as soon as 'Frost/Nixon' (2008), or better yet, 'Angels & Demons' (2009) hit DVD, I'll suspect we'll have to go back to "Mike". Ah, the wonderful world of common names...

Yup... which is why I never personally liked the way this common name thing is set up. It can so easily go back and forth. But since that is the way Ken wants it... so be it. I am more then happy to do it the way he wants it done.

It's interesting to see that his editing partner Dan(iel) (P.) Hanley has a similar balance, as discussed earlier. Looking back, it's fun to see that back then, northbloke also already referred to the upcoming 'Frost/Nixon' and 'Angels & Demons' - these movies seem likely to cause common name shifts for both these people...

arround 1995 he used only Mike Hill and is registered as Mike Hill in the A.C.E.

No, we shouldn't. Besides all names of the link you mentioned point to... the Internet Movie Dubious Base.

I think what Giga meant is that since 1995 he's only used Mike Hill. There's therefore a very good chance that subsequent credits will be for Mike instead of Michael.

Well, while Giga is correct in his statement and he may well have meany that subsequent credits will be Mike Hill. That hjas nothing to do with Most Commonly Credited Name or the CLT. Though it DOES appear as though Mike Hill is likely the most Common. I just don't like to extaneous informantion introduced that has nothing to do with Profiler or how we do things, that's like looking up information to determine that his REAL name is Michael Edward Hill (hypthetical) which is not our interest, at least for Contribution purposes.
