This is probably a known issue, but I had not luck searching for it:

In the DVD listing, if you type a letter the first Profile starting with that letter is selected.  That would be useful, except it uses the Title field instead of the Title Sort Field.  So, for example, if I type 'E', the selected profile is 'El Cid' (a 'C' title).  If I type 'T', 'The Abyss' is selected (an 'A' title).

Comments?  Help?

Thanks.

In the filter window (Ctrl+F, if not there)
type what your looking for in the title field and mark the substring filed next to it.

You can type more than just 1 letter. So, if you want to get to a movie in the T's (True Lies maybe) type tr and you should jump to the first title with tr in the title. I don't know what the limit of letters you can type is, but you have to type them fairly quickly. If you are a hunt and peck typist, you might just jump from t to r. A little practice and you will see how handy it works.

The OP does have a bit of a point though, it would work a lot better if it used the sort title rather than the display title.

I'll have to try that.  Thanks.

Tried it last night and it works great!  Up to at least 5 letters.  Thanks again for posting the tip.
