| Posted: | | | | I went looking through the Options of the program, but I couldn't find an answer. I'd like to save all the profiles for the DVDs in my collection on a portable hard drive. That way I can easily bounce back and forth between a laptop and a desktop. I can see where I can export the collection, but I don't see where I'd be able to change the location of where the data is saved automatically. Is this possible? | | | What James Knows HorrorTalk |

| Posted: | | | | Yes it is possible. You'd have to create a new database via DVDProfiler menu "File -> Open database ..." here you can choose the location of the database. After creating the new database the original can be deleted.
EDIT: Make sure your portable HDD has a fixed drive letter (e.g. F:\) otherwise DVDProfiler will not be able to find the database. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
