| Posted: | | | | Shutter unrated on Blu-ray (024543-523901) comes with a cardboard overlay (exact size of the cover) that has the Blu-ray logo and picture of a brown paper wrapper covering the actual cover (similar to official bootleg cover of Army of Darkness) However this is a cardboard overlay and not the actual cover or slip cover. I was wondering if this should be the cover scan according to the current rules. Any comments? | | | My Home Theater |

| Posted: | | | | I got mine on release date (actually a few days before) and I've never seen or heard of this "overlay case". Do you have a picture of it? | | | |

| Posted: | | | | I'll try to post a picture later on tonight. I wonder if it's a regional thing, but I don't recall anything really objectionable on the underlying cover. | | | My Home Theater |

| Posted: | | | | This is the cardboard overlay on my copy of Shutter Blu-ray. Yes, this is what you would see in the store. The overlay is affixed to the cover with those sticky peel-off glue. This is the existing cover and what is behind this cardboard overlay. | | | My Home Theater | | | Last edited: by xradman |

| Posted: | | | | Where did you buy it? It looks like something that might be placed at a Walmart or some other "family friendly" store to hide covers that they might otherwise find disturbing for public display. I purchased it on the day of release and my cover is like the existing scan. |

According to the seller, all his Shutter Blu-rays had the cardboard overlay. | | | My Home Theater |

| Posted: | | | | I bought my Shutter Blu-ray at walmart when it came out and it it has the overlay. The shutter dvd also came that way and still comes with overlay. I don't know if only walmart does the overlay though. | | | Last edited: by rusty640 |
