http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=300261764036

work with DVDP? I have recommened DVDP to a friend of mine who has a couple of thousand DVD's and entering by hand would be ..... upleasent to say the least.

would it need 'declawing'? i saw that reference somewhere. or work out the box? he has similar setup as me, scan onto lappy (XP) and 'live' on Vista 64 PC.
Cheers again
hopefully soon i'll b e able to answer some other newbies questions!!! I hope.

Considering the fact that it comes with Software (possibly Catnip?) I doubt that it's already declawed. Declawing a cuecat is a snap though. You can find instructions for declawing a cuecat here.

Back in the day, the first CueCat I bought was FREE at Radio Shack.  It wasn't altered, so I had to use the software.  For some reason (maybe at the time I was only buying a few DVDs at a time so I did't find it worthwhile to use it) I disconnected it -- and I don't know now even where it is (maybe in the dumpster?).  The CueCat I use now is altered and I got it for about $10 from some eBay seller (which one I forget).
