I've started getting an error stating that I should 'obtain the latest version of profiler' when I try to sync profier with mobile.  I also cannot perform any actions (add dvd, add watched event, rate a film etc) on the device.  When I try I get the error below and profiler closes:

I'm using the latest version of each software and have re-downloaded and re-installed both programs and performed a db repair.

Make sure you're not running the beta version of DVDP.  Then go on your device and delete the /DVDProfiler directory on your device and your storage card if it exists.

Then re-sync your collection to your device.

Doing what you suggested removed the first error, but then when I tried to sync I got a new error saying there was not enough space on the device - even though there was - so I ended up doing a hard reset which sorted that out.

Thanks for your help

When all else fails, do a reset.  My iPAQ often gets confused and doesn't know there's a SD card in it -- until I have done a reset.
