| Posted: | | | | Hi, I only found this site today and I am very happy with the datebase.
This maybe a really silly question, but is there a way I can run more then one list, one for all my home DVDs and one seperate for my adult DVDs that I wouldn't want my son to see, IE Horror.
I know there is parental controls but it would just make me feel a whole lot safer if I could do 2 lists.
Thanks in advance for your reply.
My complete apologies if I have posted this in the wrong section. |

There you can create an empty database (and/or copy your current).
Afterwards you simply switch between both with the very same menu item. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | However you can only put one database online with a single user account. Make sure your online is the one you want! BTW: this is the right forum to ask this type of question. Welcome to the Asylum, and enjoy the program! | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |

| Posted: | | | | Never tried this myself but you could add the Adult genre to the Horror titles and make sure the corresponding check box at Tools|Parental Controls menu is checked. Then, if you enable Parental Controls to block Adult titles when you start up it would block those titles from view until a password is entered. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

| Posted: | | | | Sorry to hijack this thread but I didn't really want to start another as it sort of applies to this thread anyway.
I have three databases on my laptop and I want to combine them into one, is there any way to do this? |

Then open the database you want to use and restore the other backups - but this is the important thing: Click on Restore Specific Profiles, then on Select All before continuing, as this adds the profiles to the database. If you use "Restore All Profiles" then it overwrites the existing profiles. |
