| | Posted: | | | | My son discovered that one of the DVDs I picked up at a yard sale awhile ago has permanent marker written on the disc playing surface rendering the movie unplayable after an hour.  Does anyone know of a method to safely remove the "permanent" in "permanent marker" from the disc? (It was a $1 DVD so I didn't bother checking the condition prior to purchase. Quest for Camelot) |

| | Posted: | | | | It took a bit of rubbing but a Q*Tip plus rubbing alcohol got the marker off! I'll let my son see if he can continue where he left off when he gets home from school tomorrow. If it works, then I'll watch the movie too.  |

| | Posted: | | | | Not sure if it would work on a CD/DVD, but at work when someone uses a permanent marker on a dry erase board, writing over the permanent marker with a dry erase marker sometimes removes it!!! Also a little WD-40 works on permanent markers, not sure if it will damage the CD/DVD however!!! | | | | My Collection!!! |
