| Posted: | | | | They did write the song She's Like the Wind but not originaly for the movie Dirty Dancing: Quote: Swayze and Stacy Widelitz co-wrote the song in 1984, originally for the soundtrack of Grandview, U.S.A.. It was not, however, used in that film. So if you have this DVD in your collection and have them with a songwriter credited for this movie: kindly remove those: Quote: Original Songs, written specifically for the film ( Rules Music) | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. | Posted: | | | | Made this same correction for a profile a year ago. I'd forgotten to do it for my BD profile. Thanks for the reminder. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

| Posted: | | | | I also just noticed that one of the remaining songwriter (Franke Previte) names is misspelled in 27 of 29 Dirty Dancing profiles.
Frankie Previte -> Bad Franke Previte -> Good!
========== And on the original subject the Blu-ray disc has a pop-up trivia track that mentions the source of She's Like the Wind at 1:23:15 into the film. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

| Posted: | | | | Didn't mean to state it like a cliffhanger. The trivia track backs up Wikipedia and says it was written for Grandview USA. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |
