When in collection list it is possible to click on "Collection Number" to sort by numbers or to click on title to sort by title.

I really would like to see this function in the "Edit Profile" --> "Cast"-dialog, because it would save ALOT of time and work to clean out unnessessary birthyears.

At the moment you have to scroll the whole list of actors down from A-Z, sorting by birthyear could help doing the job in a few minutes by cross-checking the "accepted birthyear"-thread.

Here a picture to show what I mean:

You may want to have a look at the Database Query plugin, this allows to select profiles with birth years.

Sort of like the idea.

What I would like to see is that when adding cast/crew to a profile that you can have the option to view in a new window all the dvd's that are in your database with that certain person.

Much like when you double click on a cast/crew member all of the dvds that you have in your database pops up in a new window with the thumbnails of the dvds.

This would help to more easily identify a certain person when they can't be identified by just their picture if available. But you do know another film that you have with them in it.

Didn't even notice that before.

Thanks for the tip.

It is indeed a handy feature, especially if you're trying to doublecheck how a person is credited in various places while working on a profile.

That is correct.  With the plug-in and the List of Accepted Birth Years, I was able to cleanup my database in about 20 minutes.
