"Do not list actors and crew who appear only in special features, or whose scenes were deleted from the main feature, even if they appear in special features."
Does this only apply only to those special features that are included on a regular special features disc?
In other words, let's take Mission: Impossible 3.
I have the 2 disc edition, so according to how I read the rules the cast/crew from the second disc special features disc is forbidden from being contributed.
But Best Buy had an Exclusive disc that features only 4 featurettes. This disc is currently in the database.
Since this could be considered a stand alone release and not part of the regular set is it allowed to enter those that appear in the 4 featurettes or not. Or is it just considered special features even though it has it's own profile?
Just asking because the profile for Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow Bonus Disc has 2 cast members listed.
Plus the profile for the Blade Runner: Dangerous Days disc has cast & crew listed even though this is part of the regular set and not an exclusive bonus disc. I looked up Hampton Fancher who is listed in the cast of Dangerous Days and I don't see a separate profile for just Dangerous Days. Which means that the documentary was never released/profiled as a separate release, but only included on a special feature disc in the Blade Runner set.
Perhaps I'm a little confused why some special features disc has cast/crew included and others, including bonus discs are left blank. |

| Posted: | | | | I believe the Rule is there to ensure integrity of the main feature cast/crew so personally I would think if it's an ALL-bonus disc (such as the 4th disc from the Indiana Jones trilogy boxset) which is allowed its own profile I would allow cast and crew as there is no possible confusion with the main feature(s). I probably wouldn't add cast crew to a normal '2-disc release' with one disc being bonus features but that's probably because I don't use each disc child profiles at that level anyway! I still wouldn't No vote because of it or clear out the data though as this would, to me, serve no real purpose. Other opinions can, and probably will, vary. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong | | | Last edited: by Voltaire53 |

| Posted: | | | | Voltaire is correct relative to a separately packaged Bonus Disc. However, personally speaking I can't imagine any benefit to adding cast and crew data for those. t's not something I would add nor wouldI accept it as download.
