| Posted: | | | | Hi Folks,
I previously could use my Cuecat barcode scanner to enter DVD's by scanning the barcode. Now, I can't. The scanner is still recognized by DVD Profiler, but it enters the same number every time, which is a 33333????? number. I thought perhaps something was wrong with the scanner, but I downloaded another DVD database program that also recognizes the scanner and it works perfectly in the other trial program.
Any ideas? |

| Posted: | | | | Looks like an un-modified cue-cat. But I wonder why it worked on the 3.1 version. | | | Unfortunately, I can't use DVDprofiler at the moment due to lack of a Windows computer. |

Quoting dvdpro Quote: Do you use a QWERTY keyboard? If not try switching to that if one of those did not work: I think you need catnip14.exe Windows (Rich Goldstein) get it on this Open Source CueCat software/drivers click on the Download locally next to it. | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Any ideas? Are you still using 3.1? Or are you using 3.5 beta - if its the beta then report the problem there. | | | Paul |

cya, Mithi It has been so long since I set it up, I can't remember exactly what I did. I'll have to go back over things to check. It seems that the driver setup I chose allowed th declawed cat to work, now that I think of it. Not sure. |

I think when it stopped working, I first thought it was something wrong with the cuecat and just entered in a couple barcodes by hand. Then, didn't enter any for awhile. So, I don't know which version worked and which one it stopped in. It might not be related to the DVD Profiler version. It might be that something happened to the cuecat setup. I had forgotten about there being declawed and non-declawed cuecats. |

| Posted: | | | | I found the problem. After searching my drives for the cuecat files I originally used to setup the cuecat, I discovered that the keyboard driver was back to the normal microsoft drivers. I re-installed the keyboard driver I was using before and things are working again.
Thanks to everyone for your help/suggestions. |
