| Posted: | | | | Okay so these last few months I've been having an X-Files marathon and had just finished the episode "The End" in season 5. While watching the episode I saw a character named Gibson Praise watching an episode of "The Simpsons" and "King of Hill," in which you see and hear the characters talking, so I decided to add them to the profile as uncredited, voice only roles. According to one voter though, we don't credit background voices from TV/radio/etc., which is something I never heard of all these years. I even looked at the credit rules see here and even the tv series rules, just to see if I missed something. And nothing said about not adding them. So should be added or just left alone?? | | | We're on a mission from God.

| Posted: | | | | Absolutely would not add them as uncredited. They are not acting in the film, not contracted or hired as extras...why on earth would you credit them as though they did? | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection | | | Last edited: by Bad Father |

| Posted: | | | | Unless Homer Simpson appears as a talking character on the X Files, I would not add them. Also, I believe this has come up when talking about WW2 movies and we don't want to credit Adolf Hitler every time he appears on an old news reel... | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | Add my agreement...I would not add them. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free. - Citizen G'Kar |

Unless the animated characters on the TV are actually interacting with characters from the X-Files I would do as the OP wants. Otherwise if all it is that they are watching the show on TV as normal, then No I wouldn't include them in the cast. |
