| Posted: | | | | I bought "In The Valley of Elah", widescreen edition at Wal*Mart here in Canada. It is in a keep case. The back cover has a UPC sticker pasted over the spot on the cover where the original UPC label is located. I can see the original UPC number by removing the cover from the keep case and holding the cover up to a light and looking at it through the back. That number is 883929009046, which is already in the database. The pasted over UPC label is 883929012671, which is not in the database. The Disc ID of my disc matches the Disc ID shown for the UPC that is already in the database. How do I handle this DVD situation? |

| Posted: | | | | You have two options: 1) Enter it into your collection by original UPC, and leave it as that (don't change locality) 2) Same as above, but change locality, UPC, rating, (and I'm guessing back cover scan) and then contribute.
Personally, I'd do option 1, but it's up to you. | | | Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!) |

| Posted: | | | | I had the same thing for my edition of the Goonies. I simply used the UPC that was on the label and submitted that as a new entry. The reason for the sticker on this was due to a cock-up with the Certificate issued to the film PG or 12 and the incorrect UPC used - or so I believe. Anyway you can see my Contribution Notes HereHope this helps b0yce |

| Posted: | | | | In favour of using the "original" UPC is that you will get updates to that (probably more common) profile. | | | Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!) |
