I am trying to add a profile from the missing "Que bello es vivir" (It's a wonderful life) but the UPC appears already registered as "Dune: Edicion Especial"

I've downloaded a profile of the movie by title but it looks that if I change the UPC and contribute I will be overwriting the Dune profile.
This UPC is a bit puzzling since it has the full UPC: 8 420565 178006 and then a mini-upc beside that reads 00002 wich seems to indicate that the same UPC has been used for several products and the second code specifies the exact DVD.

How can I address this in DVD Profiler?

Thanks

First thing you want to check is to see if "Dune" is indeed also using the same UPC. check the "Dune" profile and see if the UPC matches the UPC on the back cover of the profile.

If the UPCs really are the same... then I would submit "It's a Wonderful Life" using Disc ID by...

- Put the disc into your DVD Rom
- Be sure you are on the right Profile when it loads
- Click DVD -> Change UPC
- Check off Use Disc ID From Current Disc

Then you will be able to upload it by disc ID without overwriting Dune.

You can also first check if the profile of "Dune" with the same UPC of your DVD is in the same locality of your DVD. Sometime there are several DVD with the same UPC but not in the same country so if the locality isn't the same you can create your profile with the UPC and in the locality of your DVD.

Spanish EAN: 8420565178006 most likely (MANGA FILMS) like DFW over here (Belgium/Netherlands)
Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions.

finally I submitted using DiscID as suggested by Addicted2DVD

The Dune locality was already Spain and even I noticed that the same UPC had been used by a second spanish DVD film "Paseando a Miss Daisy" (Driving Miss Daisy)    with locality change to Italy to avoid the clash.

Obviously Manga Films has used this EAN for a boatload of DVDs and used the second barcode to distinguish between the single DVDs in this collection.
