Ok I guess Im confused about this whole paren/child profile business, I thought I understood but Ive recently aquired all six seasons of 24 and upon entering all the profiles into my database relized the children had the wrong cover art, wrong runningtime and the parent profile had all the information I thought was supposed to be removed and left with the children.

All of my sets except season 1 have thinpaks with differant coverart, I thought we were supposed to use that cover art? Also the profiles now suggest digipacks which like I said mine are thinpaks?

I wonder what other information might be wrong?

Am I wrong on this?

For TV Sets, and TV sets only, the information goes into the parent as well as the child profiles.

As to the cover art, it should match the original release.  It is possible that you have rereleases.

There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.

We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Mike:

Yes it can, after all each disc in the seasom would have a runtime and the total would yield the runtime for the set. However, let's remember that statistics are strictly a local issue. There fore YOU the user a in total control, IF you do child profiles and choose to list the child runtimes and not the parent or vice versa, that is your prerogative.

That is up to you.   At this particular second I list them both, even though I know it will inflate my runtime data. I have several other things that are higher priority than wonderoiing about which way I want to handle it, though one day I will make a decision on it.

For 24, Seasons 1-4 were originally released as digipaks.  The thinpaks did not start until season 5.  Shortly afterwards, the earlier seasons were rereleased as thinpaks also (well season 1 was completely re-released as a special edition with totally different dvds).
