| Posted: | | | | Hi there.
I'm trying to transport my database from 2.4 to 3.5 but I'm running in to some problemes.
When I'm restoring my database I get this message:
"'30-08-50427' is not a valid date"
How can I correct the date, and where can I find it? |

| Posted: | | | | I think you mean 3.1 (we're all eagerly waiting for 3.5 to be released! ). Have you tried a database repair before trying to convert to 3.1? Might just do the trick. When you get the message you mentioned, does that stop the database conversion altogether or does it convert anyway? There's two types of dates stored in DVDP: Release Date and Date of Purchase. Regarding Release Date: in 3.1 it's possible in your collection list (bottom left of your screen) to have a column "DVD Release". In that column, all release dates will be displayed, and you can put them in order (ascending or descending) to find the date in question. AFAIK it's not possible to select on date of purchase. |

| Posted: | | | | You are correct, I'm talking about 3.1.
But it is 2.4 where I have the problem, and it seems like the .dpb file i broken, because 3.1 freeses when I try to import the .dpb file. |

| Posted: | | | | If you can export to XML you may be able to search for the incorrect date and find out which profile it's in. That should go a long way towards fixing the problem... | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

Thanks for the help guys, I really appreciate it. edit: It seems like a computer crash destroyed some of the files. And that was what gave me the problems. | | | Last edited: by moyet |

| Posted: | | | | You may need to perform a refresh of your profiles if things seem a wee bit off - like missing your cover images.
Press CTRL-A to flag all profiles and then click Collection > Flagged > Refresh |
