| Posted: | | | | I've just recently found that all my dvds give an error in the notes field "This program cannot display the webpage".
This is even for entries where the notes field is blank as well as where I have used the notes to hold gallery info etc (like <gallery=13?1=1:13> )
The notes used to display ok.
Options / display / use HTML for notes is ticked.
If I untick this then the error goes away but the notes then display the raw html. | | | Paul |

| Posted: | | | | Is it possible its linked to a recent problem some of us had over the layout issue whereby we were losing the Disc Number in the Disc Info window? Can't remember the exact thread it was in, but to clear it it was a case of deleting the 2 layout files (C:\documents and settings\username\application data\dvd profiler\layout.dpl & layout.dpl.bak) and restarting DVDP, so that DVDP could recreate them. Could be worth a try, would also mean reloading your chosen layout View>Load Layout Steve Found the Thread | | | Last edited: by snarbo |

Steve
Found the Thread I can see the disc id ok. No problem there. I tried deleting the two layout files so this was recreated. The notes field just showed the same error. I then reloaded my normal layout but no joy. | | | Paul |

I never use Internet explorer - so I certainly haven't changed any settings. My theory is that if it isn't broke don't fix it. I also believe this problem is when I view the database on two PCs - XP Pro sp3, vista SP1. I will check again to make sure of that.. | | | Paul |

I did not say Internet explorer but internet browser. Quote: I also believe this problem is when I view the database on two PCs - XP Pro sp3, vista SP1. I also believe this problem is when I view the database on two PCs - XP Pro sp3, vista SP1. I will check again to make sure of that.. Well - the problem doesn't show in Vista so it can't be the database. So it must be something with just my XP machine. DVD profiler connects to the internet for all the updates etc ok so I'm not sure where the problem can be. Hopefully when the new upgrade to the program appears then this will be fixed. | | | Paul |
