| Posted: | | | | Funny I just did a search via add title in DVDP setting to any Region / Locality and PS I Love is not listed as a title anywhere?
So going on that assumption if you entered a valid EAN (UPC) its not one that is recorded for that title.

Steve Yea i know , just thought if it was one of these it may be a local problem with his BD rather than a problem with the online profile (just a thought) don't really know what I'm talking about here just guessing |

| Posted: | | | | That was the reason behind the EAN query, I couldn't find a "PS I Love You" with an incorrect cover.

| Posted: | | | | Originally I had the right cover for the dvd but I went into invelos online and refreshed all images then the wrong one came up after the refresh.Must be something to do with the refresh I think but just for the sake of it I shall remove the dvd from my collection and reinstall it. I just tried and this time Night at the Museum came up. I have checked both copies and they have the same upc number both are region 2. Paul |

| Posted: | | | | So again... What's the EAN Number?
It turns out that the EAN was assigned to "Night at the Museum" (circa 2006) before it was assigned to "PS I Love You" (circa 2007) then the EAN for "PS I Love You" has an incorrect EAN. So you either have a bootlegged copy (either knownly or unknowingly) of PS or a company out there is dealing EAN's incorrectly.
I doubt if an EAN would be re-issued to another title within 1 year of first use by another title, since "Night at the Museum" is still available for purchase.
I would suggest that the "PS I Love You" is the bogus EAN by the reasoning the the current profiles for the title in the database are all R1. I would also suggest profiling the tilte and submitting it by the Disc ID for the time being until the correct EAN can be obtained.

| Posted: | | | | Right I had a hunt around the various websites for R2 UK the only site I could find with an EAN for this title was at Tesco's website. Either way the EAN on their version is
5060116721355
when entering that EAN into DVDP it comes up with a Profile for "P.S. I Love You" with the correct cover scans - ie not "Night at the Museum".
Apart fom that as northbloke and I have said we would need the EAN.

| Posted: | | | | It looks like it's the Night At The Musuem profile which is wrong as it has a US locality, but has UK scans. This needs to be overwritten. If you still have the proper PS I Love You profile, submit that over the top and explain your reasons in the contribution notes.
Edit: although strangely, that UPC seems to be connected to a "Shaun of the Dead" UK release. Which country did the DVD come from? | | | Last edited: by northbloke |

North...if you download the Night profile although it has a US locality all the rest of the data SRP Video etc points to UK. Contributor is ritchf, a UK resident, I do believe. So that just might be a slip up on the locality setting. Steve PS. As for "Shaun of the Dead" I have that title (just been to check the EAN) yes same EAN. | | | Last edited: by snarbo |

| Posted: | | | | I can certainly believe that a company would re-use barcodes, but I've never encountered different companies using the same barcode: Shaun is distributed by Universal, but Museum is distributed by Fox.
As I also own that copy of Shaun, I'm still tempted to believe that there's something fishy with that Museum profile - especially as searching on Google brings up absolutely no links to Night at the Museum. |
