I'm trying to make a profile of the Swiss DVD for the movie "4 luni, 3 saptamâni si 2 zile" (4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days), but I'm having some problems with the country of origin. The country comes from Romania, but it's not listed in the country of origin field and it seems like I can't just type Romania in there. Is there a way around this?
Other strange thing, when I input the original title, the chars 'a' and 's' are replaced by "simple" 'a' and 's'. Is this normal?
Thanks in advance for your input. |

Not much can be done about this at this time. Not until Invelos adds more countries to the list. So for now just leave it blank. Thanks in advance for your input. Sorry I can't help you with this one since I personally usually stick to US movies. | | | Pete | | | Last edited: by Addicted2DVD |

If you are referring to the â variant of a it should work just fine. The program is limited to the first 256 ASCII characters (no Unicode) at this point but that â is in range (Enter it directly by holding down the <Alt> key while pressing 0226 on the Numeric keypad). Since i don't see a difference in the 's' characters i don't know what the issue is there. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

| Posted: | | | | Oups, I didn't notice that the forum had mangled the same characters in the original title, so my text doesn't make any sense, sorry.
In the title, there were two 'a's that have an inverted circumflex accent (is that the correct English name for the '^' accent?), and the 's' from "si" should have a cedilla. But those characters aren't in the ASCII range of my OS encoding, only in Unicode. Which explains their disappearance.
Thanks to both of you for your explanations. |

Thanks in advance for your input. Alas Zeiram, it's not possible to fill in Romania, only the countries that you see. Lots of people want more countries (give us IRAN.............). Just leave it empty, no big deal. Re movie: You can stick to US movies, Addicted (?), but still, "4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days" will be released in the USA on June 17. |

Sorry I can't help you with this one since I personally usually stick to US movies. you do know that there are a number of films where the UK version (R2) is superior to the US version? I'm surprised that anybody would limit themselves and not get the best DVD (wherever that comes from). | | | Paul |

| Posted: | | | | I still only have a Region 1 player. Which is really all that is sold in my area... I find it to be the easiest for me since I am on a budget...
1. I don't have to worry about getting a region free player every time I need a new player. 2. I don't have to worry about the DVDs playing in all the dvd players in the house.... since I live with family members that also has dvd players.
And where I said I usually stick to US movies.. I meant I don't usually watch foreign (non-US) movies... where such cases as those letters are more likely to show up. basically if it is not in English I don't even attempt to watch it. | | | Pete |
