(I've added a link to the trailer on Youtube instead.) People will only see that if it's in their collection. Here's an example for you to click (I doubt anyone else owns this one): Woodenhead links page | | | Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!) | | | Last edited: by W0m6at |

| Posted: | | | | If the link works and it takes you to the proper trailer, what difference does its length make?
You only have to click it once. | | | Hal |

| Posted: | | | | It makes a mess out of the layout of the page. I have a screen 1680 wide and I still have the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the page for some titles. So it would be nice if it was shortened to fit into a 1024 wide resolution | | | The colour of her eyes, were the colour of insanity |

| Posted: | | | | I realy don't know if this was realy the idea behind the trailer links: Profiler Link: The Day After Tomorrowhttp://a772.g.akamai.net/5/772/51/0cb3c0c5d6c749/1a1a1aaa2198c627970773d80669d84574a8d80d3cb12453c02589f25382f668c9329e0375e8177dec6493f758d13091f76bd042a11584f160d244b32a/day_after_tomorrow-tlr_m480.mov and Ken already Mentioned: Quote: That's correct and is the intended behavior. There's no need to deep link into a general info site to the particular sections. One link to their main page for the profile is all that's needed. | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. | Posted: | | | | What I would like to see is a way to make the link show up using text you decide. (like you can with links on the forum... this way we can say TrailerThen maybe have it so if you hover on the link have a tooltip show up with the link so people can see the actual link. This would also help so we can know ahead of time if we are looking at a trailer or a clip since they are grouped together. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Besides breaking the page layout, I know Apple has gone after sites that have posted direct links to akamai.net. They have been asked in not too friendly terms to remove them. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 | | | Last edited: by Nexus the Sixth |

Apple doesn't seem to be overly concerned about them. Is this going to turn into another "IMDb (or Apple this time) is going to sue the pants off of Invelos" thread? | | | Hal |

| Posted: | | | | As previously stated, linking to individual video files is not allowed as it likely violates the hosting site's policies and leeches their bandwidth. I've added some checks to help notify users when a link appears to be directly to a video. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

It seems that you were the one offering legal advice. Ken has made his wishes clear...albeit a little late for the many links that have already been posted. I for one, do not plan on going and finding all the ones I put out there and deleting them, so I hope he has a way of finding and eliminating them. | | | Hal |
