I was attempting to change the genre of GeoWulf when something very strange happended:
A) All the images in my cataloge turned RED with the Titles of the movies showing in black. when I try to refresh I get an error saying that it can't update the file(Sorry I closed out DVDP in ANGER and forgot to get the exact error message). (yes I tried to restore from my back up and online cataloge to no avail) Also when you click on the image it shows the DVD cover image and info.. Anyone ever seen this.(also tried reinstalling whcih didn't help)

I'm in the process of reloading the database folder in DVDP(I deleteted the old one I was wise  enough to copy the database to load DVDP on my Livingroom PC)

If anyone has had this happen please halla back.  (I miss looking at my covers)

Yes, I've had this several times. Don't know why it happens.

In all cases Tools>Options>Utilities>Repair DVD Profiler Database has fixed it for me.

Never seen or heard of this before..
I was thinking.. virus'.., when I first read your situation, but out of the hundreds of thousands of subscribers to Invelos, this is the first I have heard this,, on the software end of things..
So it may be your PC..  I take it you have all the recent updates and upgrades as well as a decent virus and spyware protection programs..
May also be the results of some new program recently installed that maybe conflicting with your video card.. ??
Be curious to know how widespread this has been or could be... for others..

I think you watch too many Conspiracy films . I've seen multiple users report this very same issue before. Database repair always fixes it. It's just that the program, for some unknown reason,  hicuped and corrupted a file.

I'll make a note of this for future issues....
