| Posted: | | | | I have one quick question. I am wanting to make a DVD report and I have my DVD collection around the house sorted by Genre. How can I filter my collection by first genre ONLY? Example, Kindergarten Cop is a Comedy-Action, but I have the movie under Comedy, when i want to filter all the Action movies, this movie comes up in the list as well, but I have the movie under Comedy. Please Help Billy |

| Posted: | | | | If you sort your collection by genre, they sort on the first genre only, as far as I can tell. Then printing the report "as filtered/sorted in collection listing" should produce the list you want. Don't filter at all, just sort. If you want to filter for any film with only comedy, you have to untick all of the other genres in the filter window, then any film with comedy in any of the 3 available slots will be shown.
Play with the filters a little and you should see how they work, but if you want a list of all movies, sorted by first genre then the sort by genre is the way to go.
Hope that helps. | | | Kevin |
