Any way to make the online listing match the local one if the local uses non-approved profiles?

First, I'm new at this and have made a couple of (big) mistakes already so bear with me.  The issue I'm having now is that I've submitted an updated profile for a movie that I think is more accurate but it has one "No" vote already.  So, I'm wondering what happens if it doesn't get approved.  What I'd like is to have my online collection listing match my local one.  Currently, even after I've uploaded my collection, it looks like the online listing is only using approved profiles so it doesn't match my local one.  Is there any way around that?

Basically, this is the issue.  I've submitted an updated profile for The Last Sentinel but there is already one "No" vote so I'm worried it won't be approved.  In this case, the "No" vote comment mentions DTS 5.1 not being listed on the cover and that's true but it is listed in the menu and I've verified that it's being used (using the display option to show the audio/video codec being used).  Of course, that means you essentially have to trust that the person's info is correct and that seems like it could cause more trouble than it's worth.  On the other hand, I'd like to use the info I've submittied b/c I feel it's more accurate whether anyone else wants to use it or not.  Also, the other part of the comment mentions ""missing commentary track from audio" and I'm not sure what that is wrong in that case.  I checked the audio commentary feature and it's showing that in the profile I submitted.

Bottom-line though, what happens in cases like this?  If something gets voted down, is there still a way a person can use the info just for himself/herself online and locally or does everything online related always have to come from an approved list even if the approved version isn't as accurate?  To tell you the truth, I didn't really even want to submit profiles/changes because I felt there was a good chance I'd mess something up (since I've just started using the program) but I didn't see a way to get online and local to match otherwise.

The online listing will show what is in your database except for the Images - these are always taken from the online database.

If you want to reassure yourself of this then just upload your collection.

And if you want your images as well then use something like phpdvdprofiler. See my link below for an example.

Except for the cover image your online listiing gets all of its info from your local profile and not the one in the DB. So if you change the overview to something more personal, or if you choose to change the way the cast is listed then then YOUR online collection will reflect that and not affect the database as a whole. As long as you keep any non-standard changes in your local database only, those changes will be reflected on your collection page after you synchronize. No need to make a contribution of it. Hope this helps.

Just to be clear, I believe you have to lock your profiles first, then upload them.

Thanks for the info.

I'm pretty sure I just saw the cover images being different and assumed it wasn't getting any of my local info.  Sorry about that.

The online display with DVDP isn't really great and you can use only the cover on the database even if yours are better. This part of DVDP need a lot of work to be good or usefull. I use phpdvdprofiler for my online collection and the difference is like the night and day, much more viewers friendly (since we put our collection online for the others and not for us) and more adaptable to our personal taste. My collection offline and online are 100% the same, it doesn't depend of the choice of other people.

The difference is not just the images
