Just got this one from CDWOW, they say it is a Region 2 DVD. Was sent from Hong Kong, has no rating on it, languages are Czech, English, Hungarian, Polish and Turkish. Actually it says region 2,5 on the DVD. Can't figure out what locality it is.
Anybody any idea? |

Don't understand? Maybe DVDProfilerWiki.org does! |

| Posted: | | | | Very strange indeed, Amazon doesn't know the UPC nor does the WWW (Google), normally if you enter a valid UPC/EAN in the Google searchfield you'd get at least some results. None is unusual. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | Some markets are too small to make localised releases feasible. In these cases one batch of discs is produced and sold in several countries. Sometimes the local distributor will cover the English overview with a translated one, sometimes the discs are sold as is.
Based on the subtitles, it is likely the title in question was intended for sale in Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Turkey.
I have a number of these releases, many bought from CD WOW, some picked up in regular shops in various "minor" markets. In the database they are all in the UK locality. That seemed the most logical place for them based on the English text on the cover and the lack of suitable localities (at the time) in DVDP. |
