| Posted: | | | | I'm doing this profile, UPC 022891467298, and the Writers, Directors (same people) aren't credited by their names in the movie, only as: Writers and Directors "Who the F*ck Cares" (without the asterisk). Their website confirms that Jonathan Gorman and Thomas Edward Seymour both wrote and directed the film; I'm just uncomfortable as crediting them as "Who the F*ck Cares". Any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance. The website is http://www.bikinibloodbath.com/ Bill I've decided to submit it with the "Credited As". | | | In the end; Winning is the only safety. Kerr Avon Blakes 7 Series 4, Ep. | Posted: | | | | As you have their web site confirming that Jonathan Gorman and Thomas Edward Seymour both wrote and directed the film i would enter them as Jonathan Gorman Credited As Who the F*ck Cares Edward Seymour Credited As Who the F*ck Cares
But it may be worth a PM to Ken to see what he thinks as some may be offended by the credit. |

| Posted: | | | | Something similar came up awhile back, Ken's instruction back then was to go right ahead with what appeared On Screen. So I would say ninehours has it right.

The only people that would see it are those that own and vote on the contribution for this title. If they own this title then why would the credit offend them? | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

| Posted: | | | | Ken Cole said this "I'd say in this case contribute with actual names, and point to the website as source". So that's what I've done. Thanks everyone Bill | | | In the end; Winning is the only safety. Kerr Avon Blakes 7 Series 4, Ep. Blake. |

Bill So, we are allowed to enter uncredited directors and writers. In the rare case of films without any director credits, I would even agree. For me the correct director entry (by function and not necessarily as credited) is the most important credit entry in a profile. Therfore no llamas and f*cking in that entry. | | | Last edited: by RHo |

So, we are allowed to enter uncredited directors and writers. Ken did not make a blanket statement. He qualified it by saying "in this case". | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

| Posted: | | | | Unless I don't understand the rules at all and it will not be the first time Add uncredited crew = no "Credited as" crew with reference = yes We don't talk of an uncredit crew member here, we are talking about a crew member credited differently than his usual name. This is permited to use the "credited as" tool in those case it's just an "Alan Smithee case". The only thing necessary is a source to proove that the crew member isn't Alan Smithee but "Joe Six Packs". This is how I've always understand it. |

Yes sure, but he did acknowledge that there are cases where we should diverge from "as credited". See my comment about f*cking and llamas in the director field. Both of those incidents are very special and should be dealt like this. |

If I have understood Sidrat correctly, then Ken has told him to enter the proper names into the names fields and not use the "credited as" field at all. | | | Last edited: by RHo |
