Starting @ 2:13:55 in the regular theatrical cut there are these credits.

All Johnny Cash Vocals Performed By Joaquin Phoenix

All June Carter Vocals Performed by Reese Witherspoon

Other Featured Vocal Performances by Cast Members

Tyler Hilton as Elvis Presley
Waylon Malloy Payne as Jerry Lee Lewis
Johnathan Rice as Roy Orbison
Shooter Jennings as Waylon Jennings

Would the above get credit? And if so would the 'Voice Only' box be checked?

After that is a large group called "Featured Musicians" including Phoenix & Reese again.

Would the "Featured Musicians" be credited as well?

I'm not sure how it should be done but i think since the actors already are credited playing these roles it seems doulbe, if the vocals were done by someone else it might have been different but now i think one credit is enough.

These credits do nothing but emphasise the fact that the actors are actually singing themselves, as opposed to other feature films covering musicians' histories utilizing the original sound recordings (and thus probably increasing the license fees).

It's not a seperate voice only credit, as we don't differntiate between spoken words and sung lyrics (and neither Joaquin nor Reese are mute except for the singing parts...).

"Other Featured Vocal Performances by Cast Members

Don't all of them have these roles in the normal credits? I know Shooter Jennings was in the film (besides voice), playing Waylon in the scene where they're all drunk on the stage (during the day, not a show) and Reese starts throwing bottles at them and telling Cash "he can't walk no line". I know Jeery Lee was on screen too, not positive about Roy.
If they're not in the credits, they should probably get an "uncredited", at least Shooter should since I'm positive he's in there.
