| Posted: | | | | Let's say I want to select about 300 titles and select them all as being 'watched' bu the 1 existing user (me) using the date of purchase as the day I watched it.
Rather than going through each title on the list and pressing CTRL+W, then ticking my name and ticking the 'use purchased date' box, is there a quicker way for me to do this?
Many thanks |

Then your checkbox is set by default in the watched window.
Then you flag all the DVDs you want to set to "watched".
Then you go Collection -> Flagged -> Last Watched.

| Posted: | | | | Thank you very much.
I've done the first thing you said (I was set up, but not as 'principal user') but am a little lost as to what you mean by:
Then you flag all the DVDs you want to set to "watched".
Isn't this still the same thing, ie having to CTRL+W on each and every title individually and then click the checkbox?
Don't worry - got it now. I didn't know about the flags, I just found the option. You're the man! | | | Last edited: by stigdu |

| Posted: | | | | You can flag titles by pressing the space bar when that title is highlighted in the Collection List pane. A check mark will show up in the little square box next to the title, and the highlight will move down to the next title. You can flag ALL of your titles, by pressing CTL+A or unflag ALL by pressing CTL+U.
Once you have flagged a bunch of titles, then the menu Collection/Flagged/Last Watched will bring up the same dialog box as CTL+W but will cause the watch status of all flagged entires to be set at one time. Ticking the use purchase date will then give you what you want. | | | Kevin |
