| Posted: | | | | What I'd like to do is export just the titles to Word or Excel so that I'm able to email a list of the titles to my phone. This keeps me from buying multiple copies of the same title. |

| Posted: | | | | Failing the above (not sure how useful an XML file will be for your purposes), you might want to have a look at the CSVExport plugin: http://www.invelos.com/Downloads.aspx?display=pluginsIt will allow you to export your collection in a comma delimited text file, which can then easily be imported into Excel. Or opened in Notepad or whatever. KM | | | Tags, tags, bo bags, banana fana fo fags, mi my mo mags, TAGS! Dolly's not alone. You can also clone profiles. You've got questions? You've got answers? | Posted: | | | | Hello,
I am having trouble getting the CSVExport plugin to install properly. I do have .NET 2.0 installed. The installer seems to run fine, but when I open DVD Profiler, the CSV Export plugin isn't listed. When I view the list of installed plugins, it is not listed there. Uninstalling/Re-installing the plugin doesn't help.
Is there a way to force DVD profiler to recognize it?
I was able to install a different plugin (Ipod exporter) which was recognized immediately.
Ideas?
Thanks, Dave |

Thanks, Dave It's not located under plugins. If it installed correctly, it should be the last item in the Tools menu. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

The option also does not show up on the "Tools" menu... it's as if DVD profiler just doesn't want to recognize this particular plugin. (I am using version 3.1.1 Build 1171, if that is an issue.) I assume that it should show up both on the "Tools" menu *and* under "Installed Plugins" in the "View Plugins" window? Thanks, Dave |

| Posted: | | | | If you look in the Plugins folder, do you see the files CSVExport.dll and CSVExport.tlb? |

| Posted: | | | | Both files should be created during installation so it sounds like it's not installing properly. What operating system are you running? I've heard of problems with registering dll files in Vista, so don't know it that's an issue here. |

On my PC, I ran a repair on .NET 2.0, but that didn't seem to help... still no .tlb. Manually copying the files didn't work, and if I try to register them using "regsvr32 CSVExport.dll" i get: "CSVExport.dll was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found." "This file can not be registered" or for CSVExport.tlb "CSVExport.tlb is not an executable file and no registration helper is registered for this file type" Thanks, Dave |

"RegAsm : error RA0000 : An error occurred while writing the registration information to the registry." After much painful troubleshooting, and registry comparison from my other PC, I found the problem.. The permissions on "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Record" were incorrect. (not sure why or how this happened) Once I set those permissions to allow the administrators group "Full Control", re-installing worked fine. Thanks everyone for all your help and suggestions! Dave |
