| Posted: | | | | I recently submitted new coverscans for Stand By Me UPC 043396-055179. I tried re-scanning them today and wanted to compare the new scans I made with the current ones. I used the contribute now feature since I knew this would give me a side-by-side comparison. When I was done I closed the browser since I did not want to contribute the new images. The previous contribution was still in the process of being voted on. There were, if I remember correctly, about 5 yes and 15 no votes. Somehow the counter was reset to 0 yes 0 no. Also the withdraw feature on the contribution page disappeared.
I resubmitted and then clicked cancel and the old contribution has seem to have gone away from voting.
In case this contribution from me (coprohead) still exists in your database it should be deleted since there were so many no votes originally attributed to it. The original contribution was made on 22 Mar 2008 and the errors happened today 24 Mar 2008. |

| Posted: | | | | This is normal as the system sees/thinks that you're re-submitting the submission. So, the vote count should reset. Once you hit cancel, everything should disappear. Only the contribution note is there. None of the 2 contributions is up for votes for 043396-055179 (USA) . | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions. |

Anlother way to do a comparison of your local profile to the onlne profile (including scans) is to go to 'Online>Refresh DVD from Invelos>Preview Changes' | | | Hal |

| Posted: | | | | Your original contribution was very poor, copro and was in all likelihhod declined, although sometimes they just disappear. If I remember correctly much of the detail on the front had been obliterated by oversetting the white level and the blue of the sky in the back had been almost completely eleiminated.

| Posted: | | | | that isn't what i'm saying at all. I'm saying when i used contribute to look at a new scan i made, all the old votes (including yours) went away and the counters were set to zero on the original contribution that I had made. I still think it was better than the exsisting one. I found out why it came out a little off color though I have a new scanner and the color management profile for my monitor wasn't loaded |

I found this out the hard way -- and often forget it. When you Cancel out of a contribution, it should do just that -- cancel the NEW contribution and leave any previous one alone. Unfortunetely it doesn't work that way. Hal's idea to use Online > Refresh and Preview > Changes works much better and doesn't overwrite your original submission. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges.
