| Posted: | | | | Guys..........pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...I need help, my computer froze one day and I hadn't backed up my db as of yet, but...I was able to go into safe mode and copy the whole dvdprofiler directory onto another drive, now I reinstalled it, but....I cannot retrieve my db, as it was nevre backedup, only I copied the whole directory over, can anyone help me out...I had over 400 movies.
I am so screwed....help! |

| Posted: | | | | Try placing it in a parallel directory to the "default" one that's created upon install, name it something like "olddefault". Then click "File > Open Database" and click on the browse button to select it.
Haven't tried it, but it could work in theory.
Then again, when you're dealing with computers, everything is in theory. |

| Posted: | | | | I tried that a few times; for some reason it worked this time..hehe...but not sure how many I am missing though now.....recovered 260; however, I didn't realize I had an online list of 240, so I will need to go through all my dvds tomorrow, thanks for your help! |
