| Posted: | | | | I am completely baffled - This isn't a DVD Profiler issue alone, in fact I have confirmed that it is affecting all websites I go to, not just Invelos...
I use Firefox with the latest updates, and I am having issues where certain characters of text are just vanishing... It appears to be totally random, and I'm wondering if anyone else has ever heard of this, or hopefully fixed it.... | | | -JoN |

| Posted: | | | | Is it the same with IE and Opera? Sometimes you have sites that are optimized for IE only, so they don't look right on other browsers. This shouldn't be an issue with the Invelos site though.
EDIT: But Doc is right a screenshot would be helpful. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | I only use Firefox - it was happening on websites that I frequent... I remembered that I recently updated some firefox plug-ins and have disabled them and it appears to have been corrected for now... i will turn them back on and see if i can get a screen shot..... | | | -JoN |

| Posted: | | | | Do you see odd symbols instead of the correct characters? If so, try to change the character map settings in Firefox? E.g. try Unicode (utf-8) or Western (iso-8859-15). Does this also happen in safe mode?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode: right click on the desktop icon, properties and change this (path depending on installation) e.g.:
"C:\Programs\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
to this:
"C:\Programs\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -safe-mode
If the display works now properly you could activate the plugins step by step.
If the problem occurs on IE as well, it could help to install the latest graphic device driver for your system. | | | Thorsten | | | Last edited: by kahless |

| Posted: | | | | If your running on XP or Vista you could have a go with this free software: Secunia PSI (Personal Software Inspector) maybe it can iron out some glitches. | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions. | | | Last edited: by ? |
