| Posted: | | | | It is going to be difficult for most folks to answer this question without knowing what the disc is as we probably will not have the disc in our collections... can you provide the EAN/UPC? | | | Gavin.

You cannot open the linked site? The UPC is 4-010884-504897 (for example David Newman), or 4-030521-307445 (for example John Williams). | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. | Posted: | | | | Quoting bbbbb: Quote: You cannot open the linked site? No. Only those who have that particular UPC in their collection will be able to see it. For all others, such a link will result in an error message that says something like: Unable to evaluate this contribution The selected contribution is for a profile which is not in your collection. Please vote only once on each contribution, and only on contributions for DVDs in your collection. As for your question, I think the answer is here: Invelos has purged the accepted birth years table of all "questionable data", so a few of those may have to be re-entered. |

As I understand it, the re-entering of John William's birth year (which is actually happening 4-030521-307445) would be a mistake then, because there is only one John Williams in the crew database? | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. | Posted: | | | | I believe John Williams is a valid birth year. A quick check on IMDB shows a great many John Williams. Some are however actors but in this thread Gerri posted the following Quoting Gerri Cole: Quote: The birth year will be accepted to differentiate between a cast and crew member. In your example below, Marc Warren is a valid birth year.
-Gerri Mind you it would seem he was included in the purge, but as long as proper documentation is provided I think it should get reaccepted. -Agrare |

No, there's more than one John Williams, even just within the crew section. Most credits in the database are obviously for the well-known composer (1932), but there's also John Williams the director of 'Firefly Dreams' (1962) in the database. See this thread, for instance. | | | Last edited: by T!M |

Or John Williams the director of photography of 'Yellow Submarine', which I discovered on page 102. Quote: See this thread, for instance. I read it, thank you. On the other hand John Williams is not listed in the "Pinned: Accepted Birth Years with Documentation"-topic in this forum. I confess, the way Invelos handles birth years seems a little confusing to me. | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. [Ken Cole, DVD Profiler Architect] |
