| Posted: | | | | I am preparing to submit an update to profile and had adjusted the Audio Tracks to match the menu sequence from the DVD. When checking the existing sound formats I noticed that the order of the tracks on the disc and the order of the menu didn't match. I then checked the previous contri notes and saw that a previous submitter had reordered them to match the order that they were stored on the disc. Before I change them to match the menu sequence, what is the proper method to use when entering these tracks? Do we follow the order they are physically stored on the disc or the order the viewer will see when looking at the language menu screen? | | | Kevin Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there! |

Just to explicitly answer what everyone else has indicated: the order they are physically stored on the disc is the correct order for DVDP | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

As per the rules: Quote: List audio tracks in the order in which they are encoded on the disc, determined via your DVD player or DVD-ROM drive. | | | Peter

| Posted: | | | | Yes, the rule is unfortunately a little ambiguous there, since the uninformed might think that if you use your DVD player to take them off the menus, that's the same as the disc structure. But it often isn't. The rule is fairly clear though that the order they're on the disc is the one to use. | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |
