| Posted: | | | | I'm getting ready to contribute a change to the overview.
My problem is there are several footnotes that I have added, but one of the footnotes uses a symbol that I cannot find anywhere in any Character Map.
What should I do?
Any help would be appreciated. | | | Jim

| Posted: | | | | If you can find the symbol on-line, try to cut and paste it into the overview and see if it sticks. Otherwise, I suggest finding a symbol as close as possible to it (for example, using an * when a dot is not available). |

The film is Margot at the Wedding 097363479741.
At the end of the overview, funny" film.
Between the quote mark and film is the footnote symbol that I can't find. | | | Jim

| Posted: | | | | It is not a cross. It looks like two short verticle lines, longer than quote marks. | | | Jim

| Posted: | | | | ¦ like this? Hmm didn't show right here. Try Lucida console in Word, I found it there. If it's the one you mean though. | | | "What's God?" | Posted: | | | | The parallel lines didn't look good, so I use a +. | | | Jim

| Posted: | | | | I've seen a lot of people just using * to mark a footnote. For subsequent footnotes, they add a * to make **
Though after three splats in a row, maybe switch to + for the footnote overload. |
