my images or covers for dvd profiler are in My Documents\DVD Profiler\Databases\Default\Images folder. also in this folder is a sub folder titled "thumbnails". in tumbnails are the same covers as the main image folder. is this normal or does anyone else have this configuration? i do not see the reason to have them twice.

Yes it's normal.
In the previous older releases, 1.x or 2.x these were built when a report requiring them.
But I noticed in version 3x they seem ro be built when the normal image is created.
Some\body could verify this.

The thumbnails are smaller versions of the images for quick display in the collection list.

This is normal and these are generated if you use the "DVD->Add to Collection->Preview" option and you can remove the ones which are not needed anymore by using "Tools->Options->Utilities->Clean Images Directory".
