There is a crude hack: make up an obviously bad UPC/EAN - and be sure the checksum digit is wrong (Profiler will prompt you to confirm the number, warning you that it appears invalid.) UPC/EANs that fail checksum can't be contributed, so this provides some safety against accidentally doing so. |
