We got the DP tag BOXSETCONTENTS for child profiles but nothing for the parent profile.
I've looked around but can't find anything for the parent profile.

I need a tag that contain a profiles parent UPC. Formatted exactly like the DP_UPC, but for the parent profile.

Hopefully, it will not be too painful to implement

Xyrano is very well aware that this is local only. The "DP tag" is used within the software when writing html for layouts This request has nothing to do with the profile content or the database let alone the rules.

I suppose this would only be possible if the boxset contents was a two-way link. Is it possible that child profiles don't actually have anything in them which links back to the parent and only the parent profile contains the links?
Maybe that's why it's not currently possible for child profiles to automatically link to a parent, cos they don't know they're children!

The information is there. For example, if you look at the XML export, you wil see that <BoxSet> has both a <Parent> and a <Contents> sub tag.

There are currently the following problems with boxset data in HTML sections:
  • The DP tag BOXSETCONTENTS can list children UPCs, bot only the formatted ones, not the true profile ID with the locality number included.

  • The DP tag BOXSETCONTENTS doesn't provide the parent link.

  • The HEADER_VARS provide no boxset info at all.

Theoretically it is possible. As goodguy said, the information is there. I have implemented a PARENT tag in my CCViewer for the skins.
