| Posted: | | | | I made the original profile for a move (011301667038). I crated it from scratch. Even did the disc ids back in 10/16/07. I am checking the discs for layers, making some changes. I hit the set ID button in the disc section. It updates the id.
Shouldn't the IDs be the same? I am using a diffrent computer, but that should not matter.
What am i missing? |

| Posted: | | | | AnyDVD creates a false/different disc ID, so if AnyDVD was active on one of the occasions when you added/checked the disc ID, then that may account for this problem. | | | Last edited: by Behemot |

| Posted: | | | | Just an idea... but is it possible you don't have automatic lock set (in options) to lock disc ID when you change it. If you don't someone might have added an additional id... you downloaded it... and now when you did an update it found it as changed? | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I am all out of ideas then. Other then it would show up as changed for checking the DL checkbox... but then the actual disc ID would be the same alpha-numeric ID. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I cannot remember, was there a update to DVDProfiler between submissions. Even a small one that would have it read DVDs diffrently? Notice how it has moved the disc "title" to in front of the numerics.
I also retested the disc. I inserted it, and DVDProfiler went to that title since it was inserted. It still recognizes the DVD ID. Here is another one. The chances of anyone having this is very slim. It was a promo disc my dad got from a special function. add by the title: Space Systems 50 Years The Legacy Continues
No upc, so I used the Disc ID. old ID: F3F6682E71241AB1 [50YEAR_062306] new ID: F4B9E9D63C89E603 [50YEAR_062306]
only other thought is that i used a diffrent computer before. That should not matter.

| Posted: | | | | DVDog, I've had this occur on a few rare occasions also. I have never used AnyDVD either, and the only thing I could even think of was that I also switched to a newer computer...which makes little sense. | | | Corey |
