| Posted: | | | | I don't know what the likelihood of this is, but I thought I'd give it a shot... About a year ago, we had new carpets installed in my house, which required me to box up all of my DVD's (among my other possessions, of course) so everything could be moved out of the way. Until recently, I thought I had all of my movies, but I started noticing that certain ones were missing from my collection. As I started remembing more and more missing movies, I came to the conclusion that I've got another box of DVD's somewhere, probably in one of our sheds.
Anyway...until I can manage to find them, I'm trying to compile a list of what's missing so my family will know what movies to look out for. Or in case I have to just break down and start replacing them (I waited far too long to start backing up movies). I remembered that I used to use DVD Profiler 2.1, back when it was still run by InterVocative. It's mostly my older DVD's (Shadow of the Vampire, Nightmare Before Christmas, Being John Malkovich, and so on) that are missing, so most of them should be on my profile.
The only problem is that my account is so old that it probably isn't around anymore. Is there any way to possibly retrieve my account or at least look at my old movie profile? Because it's what I usually go by, I'm assuming my DVD Profiler account was cbmatt. And considering the timeframe, I think the account was created with cbmatt@yahoo.com, which no longer exists. If I can get any insight, I would appreciate it. Thanks for taking the time to read this. | | | Last edited: by ZombieToast |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for the reply. That's where I started and it led me to this site. But I just messed around for a few minutes over there and I managed to remember my password and it looks like my old account is still active. Thankfully, I don't appear to be missing as many movies as I thought. Woo. Anyway...thanks a bunch, you guys can go ahead and lock this if you wish. |
