| Posted: | | | | How are we crediting Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson for all of his Titles. Is it Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in the name field andThe Rock in the as credited field (Walking Tall) or is it The Rock in the name field and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in the as credited field (The Game Plan)
3 dvd movies he is credited as The Rock and 5 of his later movies he is credited as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. He also has some upcomeing films where he is going to be credited as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
If you use the credit lookup tool
The Rock: 141 titles (289 profiles) Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson: 10 titles (25 profiles) |

| Posted: | | | | From what I've been able to observe, most of his earlier movies he is credited as "The Rock" where his current ones he is being credited as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
I can only assume the reason for this is that early in his career no one would have recognized him as Dwayne Johnson, whereas now the opposite is probably somewhat true. | | | Peter

| Posted: | | | | Of the 141 title, most of them are the same title and the rest are his wrestling titles and they are duplicated as well.
He is trying to seperate his wrestling career from his acting one. In my opinion we should list it as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and The Rock as credited for his carreer that has him credited as The Rock. |

| Posted: | | | | I believe he is now trying to use his name when does movies. I thought I read or heard something like that. At first no one really knew who Dwayne Johnson was so he was creditted as The Rock. Now he is using Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. I can see him dropping The Rock as part of his credits one day as well. | | | Schultzy - http://www.michaelschultz.net grenactics - The art of skillfully fraggin one’s opponent with the use of grenades or other compact explosive devices that are thrown by hand or projected. |

| Posted: | | | | At least for contribution purposes we have to go by the rules and Ken's clarification. That means strictly using the the most common credit per the Credit Look-up tool... unless you can document enough that it would change the results of the credit look-up tool to show the Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as being the most commonly credited.
It doesn't matter if he is credited one way for movies and another way for his wrestling videos... for online purposes we must go by the most credited form per the look-up tool. Whether we agree with the findings or not. At least until the time comes that Ken my change his mind (if ever). | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Then according to that then all of his movies need to be changed to The Rock as credited Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and any upcoming titles done the same way. |

| Posted: | | | | yup they do (for the ones where he is credited as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson)... at least until he has so many credits as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson that it becomes the most credited form... then we will have to go back and do it the opposite way. That is one of the things I don't like about this system... but I am willing to do it as Ken requested. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | The Dwayne Johnson credit is for the upcoming "Get Smart".
This is a tough situation since technically "Wrestling" DVD's do not have "credits". So, one could challenge those in the results if they wished. Speaking to that, there is always a battle going on as to how those titles should be credited with some wanting to go by stage name and others by real names.
Personally, I could care less.
That being said, I would exclude the wrestling titles from the lookup results only for the matter that they will skew the results in titles where it's a retrospective of someone else' career and he just happend to have a match on those titles.
So, from what I have stated, currently most credits would be:
The Rock (Doom, Be Cool, Walking Tall, The Rundown) Dwayne Johnson (Southland Tales, Get Snart, Witch Mountain*, Shazam!*) Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (The Game Plan) Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson (Gridiron Gang)
With the second moving up the list.
