Summery:
During add/download process, DVD Profiler selects a UPC/EAN identified profile where the disc id is part of the Discs field, meaning the disc just identified in a DVD device is only part of a UPC/EAN profile and not available as a separate Disc Id profile in the main db. That is all well, but the intention a user might have is to create a disc id profile. Since the disc IS properly identified it should give the option to download whatever match is found AND set the UPC field to the Disc Id, thus making the extra action the manually change the UPC to Disc Id redundant for that profile. Cuz, You know, I did identify it via Disc Id and I wanted a disc id profile in my collection.

So;
First: I would like some extra information before I add a disc id identified disc into the pending list containing what kind of profile the disc is part of. This could be done by a extra string after the label.
Examples:
1. Current Disc: STARGATE_DISC11_SKU1(11BFC864937B79B1) is part of a UPC/EAN profile.
2. Current Disc: STARGATE_DISC11_SKU1(11BFC864937B79B1) is a disc id profile.

Second: I would like a checkbox (IF the disc is part of a UPC/EAN profile), giving me the option to keep the disc id in the UPC field (so I do not need to change UPC field back to Disc Id after the download  ).
Example:
Current Disc: STARGATE_DISC11_SKU1(11BFC864937B79B1) is part of a UPC/EAN profile.
Title: Stargate SG-1 Temporada 3
UPC field: [checkbox] Keep disc id.

What do You think?

Not sure I follow you.

The priority is UPC #, if Stargate has a Disc ID, then there is NO uPC# to enter for that disc or should not be. Looks to me like you are dealing with Stargate: Season 3: Disc 11, which in all probabbility does NOT have a UPC # of it's own as it is a child Profile of the Season 3 set.

Np, I will explain further.
I am in fact creating disc id identified child profiles to season sets which does not have UPC's. Yet when I download the profile IT have a UPC and not the Disc Id in the UPC field.
I do want the data that is part of the UPC profile (with my disc in the Discs field) so I am accepting the profile. The fact that DVD Profiler assumes that the download should be a UPC and not the identified Disc Id is to me an issue and the choice left to me is to change it AFTER the download.
With this request I wanted some extra information and a option to keep the Disc Id in the UPC field, BEFORE I download the profile from the main db.

Can't think of anything else to say at the moment to explain it further.

See if i understand.  You are adding via "Add Inserted Disc" and it is finding the Disc ID but as one of perhaps many attached to a "parent" profile (which is cataloged by UPC).

So you want the option when you "Add Inserted Disc" to download the found profile and attach the inserted Disc's ID instead of the original UPC.  Thus saving you the extra step after download of going to "Change UPC" and checking the box to use the inserted Disc's ID instead.

Is that what you are looking for?
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!
